Photo of the Day: Returning to the Garden
A year ago, we published some yearning photos of the locked gates of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and we wondered if the plants were lonely, or, instead, happy for the peace and quiet. Later that summer, the Garden opened tentatively. Now it is open less tentatively, and it was there, just yesterday, that we snapped the above photo of … well, some kind of flower, and lots of it.
In the photo below, you can see a rosebush, with some Garden guests lounging leisurely in the background. It’s just a regular Saturday in the springtime.
