Poem of the Day: What They Will Remember, by RB Graham
What They Will Remember is a poem about courage and connection.
I have found that it takes courage to hold space for another human being, and it takes courage to be vulnerable. In this modern day of “cancel culture,” where judgment of individuals and groups runs rampant and is lightening-fast, and “click bait” remains the means by which many obtain their daily news, I hope that this poem reminds us to be tender toward each other, to hold space for the darkness that we all have within us, and to witness each other despite the darkness. We can all show up to sing the song that saves our life.
